At the same time, Aaron (Max Minghalla) may be seen doing same sort of thing by softly chanting the Hare Krishna Mantra (japa) at the local Hare Krishna temple. Later on a troubled Miriam (Juliette Binoche) may be seen going on yet another one of her secret nighttime excursions. Early the next morning, when Chali (Kate Bosworth) wakes Aaron up, he tells her that he is really happy to be living in the temple.
